And the songs are good ones, judging from the caliber of her collaborators including David Francey, Ben Caplan, and Matt Andersen, and the fact that she just won the Canadian Folk Music Award for English Songwriter of the Year.

I don’t think I am exaggerating when I say that Terra Spencer’s intimate performance took our collective breath away. It let us set aside any bits of sad or challenges we might be experiencing and we were swept away with her stories, her exquisite voice, her subtle sense of humor and her grace as a performer.
